This hotel was convenient for my morning flight. When I was told it was 3 star, my heart sank, it was much better than 3 star in Europe, very clean and big rooms I had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
This hotel is ideally situated for travellers who are in Johannesburg for a short time. The rooms are bright, clean and well maintained. Food at the restaurant is reasonably priced and the swimming pool is conveniently located. It is particularly handy for shopping in the airport or for eating in the airport restaurants. We really enjoyed staying here.
Great hotel next to the airport. We stayed overnight here before returning to the U.S. Our room was very comfortable, with nice bedding, nice pillows, and a nice bathroom. The facilities were great, with a pool, bar, and restaurant on site. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful.The location is great, as you can walk to the airport easily, without going outside. We were also pleasantly surprised at the price! We will probably only stay here in the future.
A Super Convenient if you have a flight from Oliver Tambo Airport. I've stayed at CLH OR Tambo many times before. It couldn't be more convenient when you have a flight the next day. The breakfast buffet is also excellent. I do recommend it. The staff is helpful, efficient, and friendly.
During some very complicated flight problems our stay at City Lodge was a wonderful oasis! The staff were very caring and helpful, and our room was fine. Our evening dinner at the hotel was wonderful - great food, an excellent atmosphere and altogether a great stay. Thank you!
